METRO BIG BAND

Metro Big Band just returned from our third visit to Toledo, Brazil. We played at various venues including the Federal Technological University of Paraná, Free Evangelical Church (IEL) of Toledo, Free Evangelical Church (IEL) of Cascavel, Betesda School, and LaSalle Catholic School, as well as a city park. Over 2,500 people heard the Gospel.
A key highlight was a music workshop at the Casa da Cultura, where we performed live and shared insights on jazz history, instrumentation, and musicianship with local students and teachers.
The workshop included a special session where a local student band called Hash Flame performed and received feedback and mentorship. The day concluded with a free public outdoor concert at the Casa da Cultura, marking a vibrant celebration of cultural and musical exchange.
Wonderful opportunities were provided to use our God-given talents as a means of sharing the Gospel through music. Building lasting relationships is at the heart of our mission, which is why we strive to return regularly to each location like Toledo, Brazil.
