METRO BIG BAND

We had a great project in Rio de Janiero with Metro Big Band. All of our projects in Brazil have been a blessing and our August project there was no exception. We had wonderful hosts, Jonathan and Isaac Santos, who created wonderful opportunities for us to share the Gospel and encourage the church. The people in Brazil are so warm and gracious and made us feel at home.
We have discovered that “kids are kids” all around the world. It is a privilege to visit children in schools and in Brazil, we have no limitations on sharing the Gospel with the kids. The culture there is wide open to hearing about Jesus! The kids loved the music and we loved playing it for them and showing them God’s love for all.
We also played at a second school. This was a unique school located in an agricultural community. The kids were not at school all day because they had to work with their families on the land. Here are some pictures and video from our time with them:
We truly enjoy playing in churches around the world. You might ask, why in churches where people already know the Lord? As we all know, people in every walk of life have needs both physical and spiritual. We have the opportunity to minister to people using our music and testimony. It’s a great chance to open their eyes to God’s immense love for them.
We already have several projects lined up in Brazil in the coming years. Brazil is one of our favorite countries to visit because the people are so warm and gracious to us. We hope you’ll join us on a future project to Brazil!
