Atlanta, GA – December 2007 -- The Board of Directors is pleased to report that Global Missions Project is in a strong position as it begins 2008 and remains totally committed to sharing the Good News of Christ around the world through music. We reconfirm our commitment that the leadership of GMP will always be based on Biblical principals of morality, integrity and fiscal responsibility as we continue through God’s leadership, “Bridging the Gap for Music Missions.”
In recent Board actions, Kathy Matheson, was named Chief Operating Officer. The Board reports, “While the Search Committee seeks out God’s next person to lead Global Missions Project, the Board will help provide guidance in the day to day operations. We have several board members who hold responsible positions in industry and ministry who are provide valuable leadership skills to GMP. We are excited about the future of GMP as we continue, ‘Going to Change Lives…Changing Lives by Going.’”
