Kent Lilley

Kent has been in the Music & Worship ministry for over 25 years, having started serving his first church while still a college student. He has served in churches of all sizes in Texas, Minnesota and Georgia. He most recently was a Music Associate on the music staff of Roswell Street Baptist Church in Marietta, GA and served as the interim Minister of Music from June 2004 to July 2005. He plays piano and sings and has performed with orchestras and jazz ensembles or led worship all around the world.
He graduated college with a BBA in Accounting and a Music Minor, studying piano and vocal performance. He did post-graduate study in piano at St. Olaf College and graduate level conducting study at the University of Minnesota and pursued theological studies at Bethel Seminary in St. Paul, MN for 2 years.
Debbie Hyde-Duby

Ms. Hyde-Duby is President of the vision HMO for a national retail optometry chain. She is also an active flute clinician and performs professionally both domestically and internationally. She is a sought after public speaker and leader in the business and community arenas. She brings to the Board an expertise in business operations, marketing, program design, chaos control and a passion for music missions. "We played at several churches in Cuba - the Cubans packed the churches. When they opened their mouths to sing praises to God, they did so in a loud voice from the bottom of their toes that filled their entire body hence the entire church. I will never forget the huge wall of sound coming from the Cubans singing Shout To The Lord. What a blessing to be in Cuba to experience this!"

Camp Kirkland
Mr. Kirkland is one of the leading Christian composers and arrangers
in the United States. Mr. Kirkland brings to the board a strong
sense of music based missions with a clear call in his life towards
our
endeavor. In addition, Mr. Kirkland brings to the GMP a reputation
among those who we will lead projects that will greatly benefit
our short and long-term plans. His guidance in the development of the
GMP has been invaluable.
Dan Ridley
Dan Ridley has been serving as Team Leader for the Music and Worship Team since January, 2005. He began his work as Music Consultant in June 1997. In 1975 Dan received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education with emphasis in Instrumental and Vocal Teaching and Trumpet performance from Southwest Baptist University, Bolivar, Missouri.
After teaching in the Dixon, Missouri public schools he entered The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He received his Master of Church Music in 1978. Dan served First Baptist, Matthews, North Carolina, Swope Park Baptist, Kansas City, Missouri and First Baptist, Jefferson City, Missouri before coming to the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina.
Dan is an avid fisherman and bow hunter. Photography has been a hobby evidenced by his many photo albums, slide presentations, and PowerPoint presentations of friends, family, church, and state events. Dan will be close to the barbeque grill and will stop the remote on “Emeril Live.” He enjoys listening to the “Canadian Brass” and “Manheim Steamroller.”
Dan’s calling is to ministry through music. “I am a minister first and a musician second.” “My heart is in the local church. Music is vital in the worship of God; and the worship of God is primary to the work of the music ministry. The mission goals of the music ministry envelope the mission goals of the church.”
Building relationships with Music and Worship leaders across our state is his driving passion. He loves computers and communicating by email. He has a friendly, ”Hello, this is Dan Ridley,” and is ready to be a resource and friend to all who call.
Bob Ray
Bob Ray is a small business owner living in Nashville, Tennessee. He is retired from Bellsouth where he had a 28 year career in their Data Systems organization. Upon retirement in 1991 he started a family owned wholesale lighting business. Bob has a life long love of music and picked up his trumpet five years ago ( after a long absence) and began playing in the church orchestra at Judson Baptist church in Nashville. He has been on three mission trips with Global Missions Project as well as mission journeys with other organizations when his son and daughter-in-law served overseas. Bob enthusiastically supports the work of Global Missions Project because of the impact he has seen in the communities where the teams visit, the encouragement participants give to the believers in the cities they go to, and the effect these trips have on team members when they return home.

Greg Dangar
Greg Dangar is recognized in Christian circles as an authority in the area of Income Tax as it relates to ministers and religious workers. Greg began income tax preparation in 1985 offering full accounting and tax preparation to a variety of clients.
Greg is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a BBA in accounting. He is enrolled to practice before the IRS (EA), Accredited Tax Preparer (ATP), Accredited Tax Advisor (ATA), and a Certified Tax Professional (CTP). He has served 6 years on the National Board of Directors for NATP (National Association of Tax Professionals). In 2003, he served as Treasurer on the Executive Committee, and he was the Chair of the 2003 Nominations Committee. He served on numerous workgroups during his terms with NATP. Greg is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Georgia Chapter of NATP where he served as president for three years prior to running for the National Board. He has been an instructor at the NATP Annual Conferences, and he has been teaching classes on the national, state and local level since 1990. He has passed the Life Insurance, Series 6, Series 63, Series 65 and Variable Products exams to now offer full financial services as an IAR (Investment Advisor Representative) as addition to his practice.
Greg is not only a member of NATP, but he is also a member of National Society of Accountants (NSA) and National Society of Tax Professionals (NSTP). He is an honored member of Stratmore’s Who’s Who Registry for multiple years has received other numerous awards for merit during his career.
Greg has served as a Minister of Music on church staff. He and his wife teach children and preschool conferences across the southeast annually. He and Paula have (4) children.
